WHO IS CAFF?
Central Alberta Film Festival is a Not-For-Profit organization based out of Red Deer, AB. We support, promote and showcase cinematic arts. With a mission to be a central platform for amateur and professional filmmakers, CAFF works to bring together the filmmaking industry one day at a time. With the support from our community, CAFF has led an exciting first year of bringing people together through the love of film.
WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL?
2017 brought the first ever Central Alberta Film Festival & Awards Celebrations on March 31 & April 1. Starting in the early afternoon Friday, March 31 with a Kick-Off Celebration, and ending the late evening of Saturday, April 1 with our Awards Celebration after our final screenings of the Film Festival.

WHAT IS THE FESTIVAL?
The Central Alberta Film Festival is a collection of films including short films, feature films, documentaries, music videos and experimental films. While our focus is showcasing the talent in Canadian Cinema, we also aim to bring together the love of film from all over the world. We accept film submissions are from both right here in Central Alberta, to many different places across the globe!
The Festival hosts multiple days of film screenings, Q&A Sessions (depending on the screening) ending with an Awards Ceremony. The event is a great opportunity to enjoy a variety of talented films, as well as meeting industry personnel and the talented crews behind the films.
CAFF has been been engaging in the community for over 1 year now, and seeing the support and talent within our province has been astonishing. Our first festival was a great success, and we look forward to having you all at our 2018 festival!
